Terrible customer service. Had to call in 5 times to get a bill corrected. Each time the rep lied claiming they couldnt help.
Another rep asked me to email him my credit card info. I said I wasn't comfortable with that and he acted like I was crazy. Very combative and incredibly rude.
Eventually got someone who was willing to help and resolved in 5 minutes, showing that the other reps simply were trying to get me off the phone. Terrible.

Stayed three nights and was delighted with the lively atmosphere. The lobby is opulent with its painted ceiling, candelabras and brass/bronze design elements. Some rooms are still in need of updating while other areas have been updated. Recommend as an ideal place to stay in Chicago as it is central to most things and within walking distance to Millennium Park and multiple theaters.
Also want to thank the many hotel team members who made the stay welcoming and enjoyable including: Justin J., Jamal, Lauren, Cameron, Ryan and the Lockwood team of Luis and Tony. Very much enjoyed the Lockwood Hazelnut tarts!

Ive been attending conferences at this hotel for almost 20 years and overall I think theyre doing an amazing job of keeping up of historic building. For the first time I saw people taking pictures in front of the famous peacock doors. So I took a picture too. I gave the rooms four stars only because I find that the lighting is always a challenge, and of course the lack of access to plugs for laptops and things for audience members or presenters, waiting their turn. The AV staff that worked at this conference was also very attentive and professional. And the Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the hotel.
Walkability: Close to everything especially public transit
Food & drinks: Great Starbucks at the street level
Noteworthy details: Loads of chicago history
