Chicago New Years Eve Party - The Drake Hotel

This is a great hoyel to stay in for good periods of time. Rooms include your basic necessities. There are also refrigerators, and a flatscren tv. The restaurant down near the lobby is great. The only reason this gets 4 stars is due to some fairly bad design. Dor example, the door to the bathrooms on the newly renovated floors dont lock. I kid you not, you could push with your pinky finger and it will open. Despite this, i recommend this hotel for anybody coming through tulsa. I also like the fact that this is near the bok center, making it easier to get ro concerts and such.

Best party of the year. 10 rooms of Entertainment all different type of music. VIP bottle service and and much more. the 90s room in the Camilla room was great. look forward to 2019 NYE. Thank you for a great time and having a great staff.

I have been attending this event for years. One of the best in Chicago. The most of amount of music and bars. Various rooms. Great staff and great atmosphere.

The event is not well organized which is disappointing since it has been around for so long. I would not recommend this event. The layout is not good and the logistics are terrible. Staff is not helpful and the event people had no idea how to handle the crowd. When we arrived I was sent to three areas to check in for the VIP table I reserved. When I finally found the correct check in they did not have us in the room that I had reserved. They had moved us without notice to a different location. Ask several of the event people where coat check was located and nobody could tell me exactly. We were told that someone would take us to our table but there wasn't anyone doing that and all of the VIPs were wandering around trying to find where they were supposed to be. The event description said that there would be table service and that each table would be able to choose their bottles. This was not the case and everyone at a table was given only one bottle of vodka. There were people clearing the trash from the tables but nobody to bring you more drinks. The food situation was horrible. They had one station in one ball room where they couldn't keep up with the crowd of people trying to get a bite to eat. The food constantly ran out and the line waiting ran both directions out of the ball room. The bathroom situation is awful at best. The men's room was fine even though there is only one in the event. The women's situation was so bad that women ended up using the men's room because the line was so long. My wife went to the bathroom and after waiting for about 45 minutes was told she could not come back to the VIP table because the room was at capacity. All in all it was the worst event I have ever attended. Hopefully the event organizer fixes the problems but I don't think they will considering how bad it was and how long they have been holding it. If you plan to attend one of these events good luck.
