Buyer beware. I went in to buy a kitchen counter. Had to pay in full up front after being charged $150 for measurements before I purchased. I asked to purchase 2" Caesarstone. They told me that it didn't come in that size, but 1.5" was standard. I was told they had it in stock so I paid in full and they would install in one week. I received a call two days before install to tell me that they didn't have it in stock. I told them they had my money and to figure out how to get the stone. They found some and the install went on as scheduled. The install went smoothly, but I noticed the next day that it was 1" thick. I called to tell them they sent the wrong stone. They told me that standard was 1 1\4. They even sent me an email stating it was 1 1/4 inch thick. First problem was they falsely sold me on a 1 1/2 inch piece which I paid for. Second was that the agreed that I bought a 1 1\4 piece in writing. Here is the problem...I still received a 1inch piece. They ask what they should do. I told them to to deliver the correct stone. They told me that I would have to pay for a new one and pay for the removal of the installed one. That clearly wasn't fair. Eventually I was offered $200 store credit. Here's the bottom line. I was told that I was buying a 1 1/2 thick counter. They told me that standard is not 1 1\2 inch but 1 1/4. Now I am stuck with the wrong countertop and they aren't doing anything about it. THEY ARE CROOKS!

Paid 150 for a laser measure,  wasn't an option, installers are terrible, non English speaking which I don't hold against them, I'm not bilingual either, but how do you send them in the field with no ability to communicate.  None the less, on PC was too big for the space that was in between 2 drywall walls, the installer came to me and said it was too big,  I assumed he would cut it down on site,  no sir, he cut out one corner bead and hammered down the other side...ruining both walls......OK so I'm livid, and they tell me they will give me 200 and that's it....these guys are crooks and I couldn't recommend them less....they also will not charge you sales tax if you are willing to pay cash.....crooks and the one to avoid is Richard 'DICK' Bontkowski,  this guy is so full of feces he has brown eyes

Julia at Rock Counter on Elston in Chicago did an outstanding job in helping us with our condo kitchen in Lincoln Park from planning to completion. She worked with us in designing every detail and helped us maximize great style within our budget. Amazingly, our one bedroom condo kitchen came out looking and working more like a much larger home kitchen! Our beautiful all-wood cabinets we're very economical for the quality and came really fast because they are made near Chicago.  Julia also helped us with all the usual surprises plus materials that often come up as needed with contractors. All small details and requests were pleasantly, promptly and well attended to by her. Rock Counter also has very good prices and better styles on quartz countertops, with a more realistic marble look, than others out there. If you want a truly wonderful kitchen at one of the best prices, call Julia! she's the best! Mary D, Chicago

This company absolutely failed on my kitchen. Where do I begin? The feed lines for the sink were not taking into account at all. Cabinet measure 101. So my lower kitchen cabinet had to have both the back and sides cut off and be slid over to fit, which means it doesnt match the lines of the top and I basically ruined a nice cabinet. The measuring of my upper cabinets did not take into account the soffits so when my fridge arrived it did not fit. I still dont have a solution here. on the stove side, the measuring was off by SEVEN INCHES. Im not even sure how its possible to be off but that might. They were kind enough to exchange a 30 inch cabinet with a 36 but the delays required my installer to come back a second time, and my appliance delivery to be pushed back. I have been living without a completed kitchen for 2 extra weeks because of this. The final straw was the counter top people coming to measure then telling me they cant and not giving me a reason. They said the area is unfinished which is absolutely not true. Another company came in, measured and was cheaper anyways. I have been doing flips and renovations for 17 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had.

Very pleased with the cabinet style options and quality. We worked with Yomio on our custom design and she was SO patient and helpful while we figured out every detail. Cannot speak to the final result since we put our project on hold but would definitely recommend checking them out based on my experience this far. Cost is higher than big box stores but not that much and seems like a good value for the price.
