My mom and I had a wonderful experience at Ultimate Bride. The salon has an exceptional selection of luxury bridal gowns and Emilie was such a pleasure to work with. She made me feel so comfortable and stress-free throughout the wedding dress shopping process and her bridal industry knowledge is unmatched! I wouldnt normally leave a review but Id hate for Ultimate Bride to be a newly engaged girls first wedding dress shopping experience! I hated everything about my experience here. Lets start with the Salesgirl seeming annoyed she had to do her job. And she did not do it well. I asked for a few different style dresses but reiterated I dont want anything showing too much skin. What does she bring? Fully exposed backs, insanely low fronts, panels of skin showing from hip to thigh. She then put a pin in the dress to attach something, and stabbed me with it. That wasnt even the most painful part of my experience here. My future mother in law started getting annoyed and was like why does she keep bringing ho dresses?! An all-around terrible experience, but the worst thing is that she kept me naked in a dressing room with her for uncomfortably long periods of time. Other bridal shops will prepare the next dress and then get you into it immediately after getting out of the current one. This salesgirl kept me standing there naked while she fumbled with the dresses. I always want to give a business the benefit of the doubt, but there were no redeeming qualities here. I had a great experience at the four other bridal shops I went to in Chicago, and ended up buying a dress!

I highly recommend doing your alterations here. Working with Maya was wonderful. She is in incredible and has excellent attention to detail.

The bridal attendant Nancy was very rude and nasty. It seemed as if she did not want to accommodate what we wanted with changes to the dress, which we had no problem paying for. The appointment was rushed and when we came back the next day to look at the dress again she continued with her attitude. She did not stop even after I told her I was not going to buy the dress there. I would rather spend more money at another establishment for the same dress and better customer service! I can only imagine what my alterations would have been like there if that's the way that they want to sell something to someone! The whole thing was embarrassing and it ruined one of the best experiences that a bride could have.
