Chase Bank

Chase has terrible rules around fees for checking accounts, even if you have direct deposits.

My wife and I tried walking in to open joint checking and savings accounts and were told to make an appointment, which we did for the following week. When we were parking just prior to our appointment, we received an email saying our appointment was cancelled. Thinking it was surely a mistake, we walked to the branch to find signs on the door saying it was temporarily closed. We received no phone call, no explanation, and no apology. This is completely unprofessional and does not instill confidence in prospective customers. I didn't think it would be so difficult to get a bank to take our money...

On 12/7/2022 I went to this location to cash a CPS check I got for work and didn't want to use my bank account to cash it and I know for a fact that I only needed to provide my driver's license and teller Diego A.Padilla greeted me as if I was a criminal and stated that I needed 2 I'ds(which was a lie) just because I didn't want to use my bank account and I was a black woman who at that time didn't look to his standards of presentation He was very rude and suggested that I needed welfare card to in addition to my driver's license to cash check in all my years of banking with chase this is THE ONLY location that have I been profiled I will be making an official complaint with corporate and other measures if necessary
