Loved here for 2.5 years in one of the two bedroom units facing the Sears tower. Really enjoyed our stay at Echelon. Pros: - Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Maintenance is awesome and very quick to fix issues. - We were very impressed with management through covid. Lots of discipline around mask wearing through the building and they managed to keep amenities open on a booking system to limit people which was great. My daily swim / gym session kept me sane. - Location is super convenient to the river walk, grocery store, CTA lines etc. I even walked home from the United centre several times. - Amenities were great. Gym and pool never get too crowded. - The building app is great. We liked that it incorporated a resident buy/sell page. - During winter in particular the smell of the chocolate factory when we went outside was awesome - Great little park next door. Cons: - You definitely hear the train on lower levels and/or the chocolate factory (depending on which side of the building youre on) but we got used to this noise pretty fast. - Air con units are somewhat loud but great at heating/cooling year around.

PROs Location is awesome, right across the street from Jewel Osco and easy walking to west loop, river north, and the blue line. Higher units have great views of sears tower. Area is relatively quiet so I never had issues with noise at night. CONs Some of the fixtures and appliances feel a bit dated. Parking lot is very dusty from the train tracks right outside, probably wouldn't recommend if you have a nicer car.

We just moved out of K Station Echelon this month after living there for over four years. We had a decent experience living there, but I am beyond frustrated with our experience with the garage. We paid to park our car there for years at $208 per month, and I kept my bike locked in the bike storage rack. We had our car broken into and a window smashed a year ago, and my bike was recently stolen with the lock sawed off. Its frustrating that we paid so much for parking and living in this luxury building and people are able to just walk right in to break into cars and walk off with bikes. Also, the grills never worked properly or were completely clean in four years. We would have to bring our own lighter down to light the grills. Our apartment itself was fine, no big issues that were unaddressed. The best part about it was being so close to the Jewel right across the street.
