        We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cedar Cabin. This new modern rustic home in Tulipwoods provided a clean, comfortable place to relax with our dog after exploring the hills in Shawnee National Forest. Owners Jennifer & Jeff created a retreat worthy of each of these 5 stars. We have stayed at other properties in the area and have found Allison with SIVR to always provide a great experience. This is why we will continue to book with SIVR.

        Brand new adorable cabin, just outside Carbondale! The cabin was decorated so nicely and complimented the southern Illinois area. The hot tub was so relaxing after a nice hike. If we need a cabin again in Southern Illinois I will be definitely be using Southern Illinois Vacation Rentals again! If you have a child that is a student at SIU this would be a great little get away. It could give you a chance to escape to the woods and spend some quality time with them. Easy drive to hiking trails and wineries! If you get a chance book a cabin before they fill up!!!
