Cabin on the Hill

I'm so glad you left this review and I expected it. First of all you are exaggerating to say the least. There were no rage texts. I told you that you did a great job on leaving the cabin nice but the hot tub was nasty. It had nothing to do with PH and I sent you the pictures. It was super gross!! We have had many, many guests stay for over a week and it never looked that gross. You don't want to admit that you didn't follow the rules. And yes, we do have rules. Our whole society is based on rules and we learned long ago that if we don't have rules people will abuse the hell out of our property. When you booked you said you were going to have your mom and sister over to visit and then a few days before your arrival you said there would be around 10 or more people. I said no. The cabin is not big enough to accommodate that many people and that we wanted you to only have your immediate family which based on your reservation form was you and your husband and three kids. You failed to tell us that your mom was also staying in the cabin and you stated they just hung out at night but when my husband and I took our walks on the trail early in the morning the extra car was always there. When you did the photo shoot it was my assumption you would all meet at the barn since I had told you we didn't want a bunch of people in our small cabin. You had everyone at our cabin for several hours. And I felt that it was weird that the giant outdoor trash can was overflowing in garbage from you family reunion. I suspected that you just went ahead and had it at our cabin. My book of notes is so that people will know where to put their trash, that the lights have dimmers, where to dine, and rules about things I shouldn't even have to put in the book because it's basic common sense and common courtesy. Information about our dogs, that we recycle, just stuff like that. No big deal. You didn't even look at the book because you texted me several times and asked me stuff that you would have known if you had looked at the book. When you say no privacy... that's just plain bull. We never ever came to your cabin. We only take walks on the trail in the morning and we can see how many cars are there. I'm just going call you a lair. You are mad that you got caught doing what I asked you not to do. I have reread that texts and they were absolutely not toxic, only informative. I have dealt with people like you before. You think you can do whatever you want but when someone calls you out you get super defensive and lash out. I'm glad you will not be coming back. You have no respect for rules. Also, my husband and I work very hard to keep this place maintained and clean. Plus take care of all of our animals. At the end of our work day we like to sit down and have a couple of beers and relax. I resent that you said we are alcoholics or having issues. How dare you!!!
