Last summer, I found myself in need of a real estate agent to sell a property 3 1/2 hours from home for a cousin who had fallen ill and moved into assisted living. I knew no one in the area could help represent us. I was lucky enough to find Marge Haworth of Epic Realty through a recommendation from the Dave Ramsey organization, and she proved to be a godsend through a long and difficult process of selling a house from afar in a changing market. Marge was such a valuable resource every step of the way, and her experience as an agent paid dividends over and over as I worked through the unfamiliar (to me) waters of selling a home. She was so good at providing assistance and advice on what needed to be addressed in marketing the house, and knowing what improvements would be necessary to do to meet the requirements for occupancy inspections. It made a big difference as I made multiple trips down with the proper tools and supplies to really accomplish something. Marge was kind enough to meet with people several times for services or inspections, saving me the wear and tear of a 7 hour round trip to meet someone for 30 minutes, and her advice in working in the current market was invaluable. When we had not one, but two buyers fall through at the last minute, Marges experience, wisdom, and positive attitude was amazing, and helped us bring successfully the sale of the home to someone who will enjoy and value it.
