I was told it takes 30 DAYS to Process an it's been over 2 months an I still have not heard from anyone I have left multiple voicemails. Very unorganized and unprofessional.

I love the intergovernmental Grant's department they helped me when I stay in st. Clair county. They paid my car note and insurance and my rent and Bill's because I had no income after becoming fully disabled and waiting for a decision. Now if only they had a Madison county office they would have been give 5 stars. I don't like that they don't have a way to help people in granite city because they only help st. Clair county. This needs to be change or create another office that has the same kind of help.

There is a review where the young lady said they give preferential treatment to non whites. No ma'am. They help whom they FEEL like helping. Those are some of THE MOST unprofessional people I have met. I've had two pleasant phone calls in the five years I've lived in ESTL. The one time they did help it was because I sent a very unpleasant email expressing my distaste for how I was treated. I do agree with the young lady when she said there were too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Too many people in there on that high and mighty power trip. Makes you feel like you are beneath them since you are there asking for help. I have been asking for help with water and power since earlier this year. Finally got an application in. Says they can have 30 days to process. Haven't had any correspondence. Whatever. Yall waste people's time.
