        I want to highly recommend Santa Maria Health to anyone suffering from mental illness. Maricela Perez is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with 30+ years of nursing experience. I suffered with major depressive disorder (MDD) for over 5 years including suicidal ideations. I saw multiple therapists and psychiatrists over the years with no results. Maricela listened to me, believed my symptoms, and worked with me on a plan to get better. I am happy to say that with Maricela's expertise, my symptoms of depression are GONE! I feel like I have my life back. I also want to acknowledge the amazing and caring staff at Santa Maria. Ceniz and Cecilia are professional, attentive and kindhearted.

        Maricela Perez is by far one of the best if not the best psychiatrist in the area. She completes a total assessment of your mind and your body and listens to everything being said and the actions and behavior of the patient in order to provide the best treatment necessary. I am so fortunate to have her as my psychiatrist she has been an incredible help to making my life become whole again.
