No Person and No Company is Perfect However How the Person or Company Handles it Speaks Volumes. I recently purchased some new sheet metal fabrication equipment from Rams Sheet Metal Equipment. Working with the staff during the purchase went smoothly and they did not overpromise and delivered the components as promised. However, the most expensive machine I purchased which was an auto power flanger did not work when it arrived. Being new to this type of tooling I figured it was user error but no that was not it. Rams however offered to ship me another machine right away, but I like learning how to work on my own equipment, so I asked for assistance in fixing it. I figured at some point I will want to know how to address problems down the road. They sent documentation for an easy fix that did not do the trick, they then sent some parts, and I am proud to say 30 minutes later it was up and running great. I often tell customers who are trying to figure out which contractor or manufacture to go with, ask for three letters of recommendation on jobs that went wrong. Every contractor, person, and manufacture will screw up something, and everyone one of us will shine and could get letters of recommendation on those instances when we save someones bacon. What I always want to know is how they respond when things dont go right and, in this example, Rams gets 5 out of 5 stars. American Made, Great Service, and did not try to avoid the problem when one arose. Rams employees I look forward to making more purchases from you in the future.
