I called Andy as our heater was having intermittent issues that another company was unable to fix after coming out to our house 3 times. The previous company was also unwilling to diagnose it as broken to our home warranty company so we were just stuck for 6 months with a heater that didn’t work well. Andy came over and immediately recognized that it was old and corroded and a safety hazard and was willing to write all the necessary letters and information for the warranty company. He responded promptly when we told him we wanted to replace it completely and his crew came and did a great job. The new heater works so well! Andy has continued to be a resource to us as we battle with getting a reimbursement from our home warranty company. He even said he wouldn’t charge us for the original service fee if they weren’t willing to pay for it ($150 value!) He is very knowledgeable and kind and we will definitely work with him again! We recently moved to the area and discovered that our ductwork was in disrepair. There was a competitor’s sticker on our HVAC unit so we called them to get on their schedule. They told us that they were backed up and prioritizing customers without heat as the weather was turning cold. Our ductwork was so bad that mice had invaded our whole system and some even died leaving a rancid, terrible smell. When we contacted the competitor to see if we could be prioritized as we were without heat they told us to call and have the ducts cleaned. That still doesn’t solve the problem of all the gaping holes and broken ducts allowing for more mice to invade. We contacted Andy’s Heating and Air and they were not only polite and concerned for our situation, Andy immediately came out to assess our situation. He had a team out the next day to reconstruct our entire duct system. Our heat has been back on for two weeks now and we still have not heard back from the competitor in Buhl. Andy rocks.
