Greenbriar Inn

We booked a room last minute (morning of) based mostly on the reasonable rates. Coeur d'Alene is the halfway point on a long drive we do once a year so we usually stay in town. Honestly the other area hotels we have stayed in have been pretty bad, so our expectations of a more affordable room in town were low. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised with the Greenbriar!! The manager, Mike, communicated very clearly and pleasantly and despite the fact that we booked just a few hours before check in, he upgraded our room for free and left clear instructions for accessing the room after hours. We found the place to be beautiful, historic, unique and squeaky clean. We enjoyed the breakfast goodies and were amazed to even receive a gift card for the restaurant with the room! Location in town was awesome and the menu (we were there on a Monday so the restaurant was closed) looked great. We will definitely be back!

A hidden Gem!!!! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great self-serve continental breakfast. A fabulous restaurant & bar on site. Just charming and it will be my Go To whenever in the area! Rooms: Very comfortable Nearby activities: Downtown & water 5 min walk. Quiet neighborhood. Walkability: 5 min to downtown, shops and water. Food & drinks: Fabulous restaurant & bar on site.

We had a fantastic visit! The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and quaint and the bar downstairs made good drinks as well. It was my birthday and beautiful flowers were waiting in the room upon our arrival with a lovely card from my husband. Also have to give many thanks to Mike who was super helpful in making everything perfect! We will definitely be staying again! Walkability: Was very close to downtown lots to do!

We live in town but wanted an anniversary getaway. I had no idea this little gem was so close! The service for the inn and restaurant were both top tier. Everyone was always ready to go above and beyond. We stayed in room one. There was a lot of noisy foot traffic but it didn't bother us, especially because of how gorgeous the room and patio were. 315 Cuisine is now my favorite local restaurant. Thanks for the experience Nearby activities: It is 4 blocks from the mainstreet in cda! You can easily walk to the lake, shops, restaurants, bars, and park. Food & drinks: This is not a bed and breakfast. They offer cute breakfast items but they wont serve you pancakes. Instead check out their tapas restaurant downstairs. I personally couldn't afford to go there every night of the week but I wish I could because it is the most amazing food you will eat. It pairs so well with a specialty drink from one of their mixologists.
