Went for my visit everyone was very nice until I said I couldn't afford the service. After that the doctor called the pharmacy and put a stop to all medications. Luckily I was able to find a doctor I could afford before I needed them.. I do not recommend.

Some unprofessional staff will gleefully share your info with ANY interested parties. They'll easily find ways around HIPPA laws so you'll have no recourse. Be careful. Mental Health care in Idaho is a shambles so be very thoughtful of your choice in professional (& who they work for). NOTE: Be very careful filing a complaint (or bad review) about St Al's cuz they will come after you with any & every lie & accusation.

In the past this has been the most comfortable place to ask for help. I dont mean it was great or it helped fix all my problems, but it was safe enough. I felt the least amount of judgement here from staff compared to other places. The food is amazing! There was no smoking allowed so that made working on my problems even harder. They allowed my car to stay in the hospital parking lot which took away that stressful situation. They had ONE nurse that spoke to me with such kindness that this place just worked for me during that stay. The doctors I cant say helped at all. At all. It was more of a safe place to work on myself while being supervised by doctors.

I have been coming here for the last 4 years. Very hard. I will say Dr Byrd actually listened to me but then he left and moved out of state. He assured me that I was in good hands with Diana Neff. I had an open heart and mind about this and the first appointment went well but since then everything has gone downhill. I feel that Im not being taken serious and that makes me feel hopeless. I just keep getting prescribed higher doses of medications that dont work or are causing more intolerable problems instead of trying something entirely new. I feel like giving up on this place.

When I was around 11 or so, I admitted after being emotionally abused by my then adoptive family and locked in their bathroom. The nurses and doctors there were all so caring, and when I told them what was happening to me they immediately got me away from those awful people who hurt me. I can't thank them enough. However, when I went to leave, a councilor gave a news clipping of a failed foster home attempt where the kid burned his house down, and told me to behave.
