        I cannot fathom why US Bank would shred someone's forgotten drivers license when there are clearly other options. Allow the customer a reasonable amount of time to return and pick it up. Mail it to the customer. At the very least return it to DMV. The teller should have noticed the drivers license was forgotten before the customer left the branch. Especially with all the Covid restrictions and DMV now requires an appointment, which are running six weeks out. By shredding the drivers license, US Bank is costing there customer time and money to get an unnecessary replacement. If this is the kind of customer service you can expect from US Bank I'll just take my Business elsewhere.
