Taxes R Us

I just want to start by saying they were very welcoming! Even offered us coffee. I had a very bad experience with my last tax agent and decided to switch to Taxes R Us so this is my first time filing taxes with them and Richard did not disappoint. By far this is the biggest tax refund Ill receive. I will be back next year definitely. Also on the way out they gave my son candies, so sweet! Thank you Taxes R Us for a positive experience! I left that place HAPPY.

Go somewhere else!!! They took full advantage. I wouldn't trust them taking care of any of my loved ones taxes.

We came to Taxes R Us for assistance in helping my dad file his taxes because we try to support locally owned businesses as much as possible. He has a humble income and cares for two of his grandkids from a disabled daughter. We inquired with Richard upon sitting down about the cost for filing two years so that we could seek help elsewhere if the service was too expensive. Richard seemed empathetic about my father's situation knowing that he makes equivalent to the poverty level in state of Hawaii while being a single guardian for two children and said he "would not charge more than $200 total due to the situation". At the end of filing the taxes, shockingly Richard charged him $400. When questioned about the quoted price he then retracted his statement and said he meant for each tax return which was very dishonest. It was very disheartening that there are people who would take advantage of those who already have much less than. It was a snake move and we left feeling very icky about the entire situation and taken advantage of. I would not recommend anyone to go here as they are not afraid to blatantly exploit you for their own profit. It is sad this happens to locals in our own community. H&R Block would have been half the price.
