image We had sandwiches and drinks. The sandwiches were excellent.(Great rye bread on the pastrami the "Rachel". Sides were good, drinks were stout, and the prices very reasonable for the Island.

image I recently had the pleasure of eating lunch at Johnny's Restaurant and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a beautiful view of the golf course. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.
Tiffany the bartender makes outstanding Patron margaritas and is friendly and helpful when recommending food items. We had the chicken wings, Johnny burger and the Chop Cheese sandwich. All the food items were delicious and cooked perfectly. If you are planning a trip to the Waikoloa Village, a stop at the restaurant is a must.

image Tiffany the bar manager can be nice when she wants to be, however she can be rude, and disrespectful towards regular clients on days where someone peed in her corn flakes. We were yelled at for sitting down too early at the bar when seats cleared. She went on an absolute rant. We communicated to the owners Brittany and Keith, her verbal abusive behavior. Showed them a one star review from another customer from whom witnessed her behavior that night. Now we are 86d? For complaining? Food and service has always been good, however on Fridays, they are short staffed since the manager, Tiffany, tends to send staff home so she can make more tips. As customers that support this business in the order of several hundred dollars per month, we could at least be treated with respect.

image My wife and daughter accompanied me to Johnny's for lunch. My wife and I specifically went for corned beef and cabbage on Saint Patrick's day while my daughter, who lives in Hawaii had a braised beef sandwich. The food and service was top notch. Our corned beef came with cabbage of course and small white potatoes, carrots and a green. My daughter's sandwich came with homemade potato chips. It turned out she liked my potatoes better, so I ate her chips and she ate my potatoes and carrots. The chips were perfectly fried and had very little salt. I stopped eating when they were gone. Our waitress brought us a breakfast menu when we were done eating and it looks great. We intend to go back for breakfast before we return home. I hope that we get the same waitress because she was wonderful.
Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free items on menu .
Kid-friendliness: Restaurant tends to be open air on a golf course.
