A very quaint and cute place to stay. A historic hotel in Lahaina. Thanks for the wonderful service and pleasant atmosphere. Eric the bird was fun! Room was great.

This is my first yelp review and in fact the only reason I took the time to create an account and share my story was due too the fact that the group I was with was treated so poorly that I actually felt the need to say something. The food was average of what you would expect of a hotel, good not bad. It is one of the oldest hotels on the island but the rooms are renovated to a modern style and are small but quaint. The issue I am referring to is the service. My group consists of a few families who vacation once a year together. We as a group happened to be in the courtyard enjoying ourselves, talking and playing card games when one of the service girls came out and warned us that quiet hours were in effect. It was only 9 pm but okay fair enough, different culture, their hotel, their rules. Perfectly understood. We calmed down and kept the noise reasonable especially when you compare the level of us making noise to the festival that consisted of people drinking and partying on the street right next to the hotel. At ten pm the service girl returned and asked us to quiet down once again even though we were not being loud and there were people partying and making such a ruckus right in the street. When we stated this to her, which by the way was not disrespectful to her what so ever she showed the most disrespectful attitude I have ever seen from someone in the hotel business. It was the kind of blatant disrespect that was not someone who had a long hard day of work but rather it was the kind of blatant disrespect someone shows to those who are not locals which is entirely different. Never in all my years have I ever seen such unprofessional service. For those who read this and get the sense that I am angry than that is what I am trying to portray. The way this service woman portrayed herself ruined one of our precious nights as a party of people who are enjoying themselves on vacation. Her attitude was completely unwarranted and unprofessional. As such for those who continued to read this far I would not recommend this hotel as there are much nicer and much more professional hotels on the island. My hope is that you do not experience the same thing my party did and have a truly fantastic vacation free and void of disrespectful and unprofessional service. Good luck and have a great vacation😁

I loved the spinach, strawberry, macadamia nut, feta cheese salad that used to be on the menu at The Pioneer Inn 😋 I wish that they would bring it back ! It was so much tastier than the salad that "replaced" it.

Hotel was great and close to many restaurants/attractions. Friendly staff. The only thing I would improve is to add a microwave in the room or break room with microwave for everyone. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
