        Amazing sunsets from our balcony. Rooms are somewhat outdated and chairs need cushions. The full sized fridge was a plus. Rooms: A better furniture choice would be a welcomed upgrade. Walkability: Only a short walk to a wonderful beach.

        The only good thing about this hotel is the location . The rooms are very old and I'll equipped (very loud barely functioning AC and no iron ) . There are nonfunctioning widows which basically transmit the sound of ongoing traffic from the nearby street directly into the room. In addition, there is absolutely no privacy , with the blinds being too transparent. They don't clean the rooms regularly of course and on top of that the towels they provided were absolutely disgusting and dirty . Took a shower in an old bathroom that had black mold growing on it . Overall terrible experience and I leaving a day early and booking somewhere else . Don't waste your money , pay extra and get something better .

        Great little hotel near the beach...the beach was literally 100 yards from the hotel...the room was updated with high tech stuff...had a swimming pool view and very comfortable. The kitchen was very handy along with the fridge. I paid around $300/night which was the cheapest I could find near the beach without breaking the bank

      Hi Kevin — The fee is not hidden, itʻs clearly advertised, and it's a flat fee of $155/stay. We have no record of you staying with us. Your 1-star rating at the Valley Isle Resort for the same reason, a so-called "hidden cleaning fee," suggests that your reviews are not genuine. We will report this to Google.

      Aloha Amro — We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We are an older property, and we understand we are not the right fit for everyone. But we pride ourselves on providing the best possible stay near one of Maui's best beaches for a great price. A few things worth noting: The louvered windows are meant to take advantage of Maui's famous tradewinds, but yes, that means you'll hear some noise from the street when it's busy. We use a professional cleaning company to clean the rooms between every stay, so it is inaccurate to say we don't clean regularly. Freshly washed towels are also stocked in every unit and would have been promptly replaced had you made your dissatisfaction with them known. Safe travels and happy trails on the next leg of your journey!
