Although Hoku Traders seems to deal primarily with large wholesale to retail businesses, they do indeed sell to the public. My wife and a I purchased 8 wooden Tikis and a few wooden makaus during a trip to O'ahu a few weeks ago, and had them shipped to our home in North Carolina. Perfectly packaged and arrived in less than a week. The owner and the employee we spoke with on site (I've unfortunately forgotten her name) were extremely kind and helpful, and they have a very nice selection of Hawaiian themed gifts/carvings. Much better than the stuff you find at ABCs in Waikiki, and very affordably priced. The business is located in an industrial area of Honolulu, and I don't believe there is a sign that says Hoku Traders in the front - but trust the address when trying to locate. It is accurate as shown on Google. We will undoubtedly purchase more from this establishment - and Mahalo, Hoku Traders!
