Founded in 1979 with second generation owner Audrey at the helm,& 3rd generation daughter & son working is impressive.I showed Audrey what I was looking for & she immediately said "no one in Hawaii Carrie's it" could have saved me stopping at 4 other stores. However, she immediately offered an excellent solution which she had in stock. WOWZA. Absolutely dig her knowledge, enthusiasm & resourcefulness at 7 am store opening.I think they have the LARGEST inventory of Simpson ties on island.Buy local & support this awesome business.

My saga started last year when I identified the perfect composite decking for our upcoming home remodel. The problem was that this particular decking isn't normally available in Hawaii. I located the only two local designated dealers for the decking, on Oahu. Suffice it to say that only one was willing to 'go the extra mile' and order the decking for me, Rinell Wood Systems. Shortly after placing the order it was realized that an innocent error had occurred and, as a result, the decking was no longer available. When Audrey (at Rinell) learned of this, she spent hours tracking down another supply of the decking, and arranged for it to be shipped to Oahu, arriving sooner than the original order. However, the additional shipping was going to cost more, and the entire additional cost was covered by Rinell, to "make things right". The decking was delivered in excellent condition, with Rinell standing behind the product, indicating they would replace any damaged decking. This company exudes integrity at every step of the process. Every individual I worked with at Rinell ( Jason, Jessica and Audrey) was friendly, polite, and supportive. They treat the customer like family.  I highly recommend them, and plan on using them for my future projects.
