Dr. Tsuda is so helpful. I was vacationing in Hawaii and forgot my contacts at home. I'm as blind as a bat but with confirmation of my prescription, he kindly gave me a few sample pairs to last me til the end of my prescription when other local optometrists declined to help (I offered to buy them and they said no). He is a kind man with a warm heart and I'm sure he helps all his patients with this type of care. Thanks again, Dr. Tsuda!!

Dr Tsuda gives old fashioned customer service in a modern practice. He's absolutely the type of Dr you're almost afraid to review, but only for fear he might become too busy!He takes his time with you, is painstakingly thorough with details to ensure you're: a) aware of all of your options, b) educated about which option might work best for your lifestyle and c) not caught unawares by insurance coverage or cost. He has always seen us exactly at our appointment time, which I appreciate. If only everyone cared for their patients this well!

One of the best on the island! He is very kind and respectful. Also very knowledgable when it comes to your eyes. Not like other optometrists that will tell you anything to get you to spend more money on things you don't need. He will inform you of what is and what isn't necessary, and help guide you into making decisions that will actually help save you from spending tons of money. The selection of glasses are great, very cute and more of my style. He won't turn you away when it comes to insurance, he is very informative and helpful and makes the process way easier. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

I've been coming to this office since Dr. Kevin Tsuda was a wee lad & his father, Dr. Albert Tsuda, was in charge. He was amazing & Dr. Kevin has carried on the tradition of amazing-ness! He is so thorough. And he really takes the time to make sure you get the most of your insurance. I use both contacts & eye glasses (depending on my mood). I needed both but, of course, insurance would not cover both (mood-killers!). He called them to figure out if it would be a better deal for me to use my insurance to get contacts or glasses.Also, he really wants to make sure that you are comfortable with your choices. He gave me a week's worth of samples of the new contact I was thinking of getting. Just so I could make sure they were comfortable. And I have crooked ears or a crooked face or something so he really has to readjust the heck out of my glasses to get it to sit right on my face. And he tells me to come back in if I need it readjusted.Also, my son had horrible insurance coverage from a mainland company when I took him in for an annual check-up. Well, without going in to too much detail, insurance wasn't going to cover the visit. But Dr. Tsuda worked some magic & they did! Amazing!Even though he has a small office, he has a wonderful selection of cute & stylish eye glass frames. And his mom is his receptionist which I love. She is absolutely delightful! I've had horrible experiences with the reception staff at other doctors' offices so he is so lucky to have her!The only bad thing about this office is the eye-puffer thing. You know what I'm talking about! I know this is not exclusive to Dr. Tsuda's office. And I know it's a necessary evil. But man, I hate that thing!Other than that, Dr. Tsuda really is the best! I'm so lucky to have him as my eye doctor.
