Confirmed scam by own employees!
I came in here the day i bought my truck. A used tacoma, the previous owner had put on a custom exhaust system. I wanted to switch the mufflers back to stock to reduce the noise.
I pulled into the lot and was met by two guys sitting in chairs in the garage. I told them I just wanted a quote to switch the mufflers. They lifted up my truck, barely spoke to me, and one guy looked underneath for about 15 seconds. He walked into the office, turned around, said, are you coming? Overall super rude first impression.
Well the guy told me i needed an entirely new exhaust system. $1800. It was entirely rusted out he said. I just bought this truck and inspected it, that was not true. I asked for a moment. I went outside an asked his partner what he thought about the rust. EVEN HIS PARTNER SAID THE RUST WASNT BAD. The partner was confused why the entire system would need to be replaced.
I went back inside and told him i'm not replacing the system, I just want a muffler. Dude quoted me $1200 for a new muffler. I walked out. He asked me to meet him in the middle: $800. I said no. He asked me if i would do it for $400 or $500.
These guys are literally scamming people, making up prices and unnecessary work. Total garbage.
