Driver Elswood was friendly and knowledgable. Lives locally for over 60 yrs with his family. Started with Rainbow falls and local park with king Kamehameha statue. We then proceeded to old and new lava flow. Black sands beach and mauna loa nut factory. Unfortunately the magma at this time had stopped so a trip to volcano national park was not as desirable. He took a group of 13 in his van, which allows us to move faster than big tour buses. He was also willing to take questions or group suggestions. He even stopped at a local swap meet so we could taste local food, per group request. At the end of tour we had extra time so he dropped a small group of us to walmart so we could grab last min stuff for cruise. We took the free shuttle back from walmart and the tour cost $60 a person. A huge saving from ripoff cruise excursion. Loved Elswood; local, knowledge, and cheesy humor! Great tour and driver...support local business of Hawaii!
