The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. But, this is by far one of the nastiest looking hotels Ive ever been to. I had already paid and got my room when I looked at it, and I feel like maybe the sheets were clean but the bedspread was nasty and grungy. I was so exhausted that I went ahead and bit the bullet and slept for the night. Its just really dirty. The cable TV didnt work the Internet didnt work. I wouldnt even give it one star to be honest with you. It was just horrible. Noteworthy details: Do not stay here!

Ridiculously overpriced for the state of the place. You see a filled swimming pool when you pull in - but they tell you it can't be used. If you ask when it will be ready, they will tell you they're working on it. They are not. Rooms along the front of the building have been renovated using the money from long-term occupants staying on the backside of the building who are treated like garbage, living in rooms you would barely believe were in the same building. I once woke up to a toilet that didn't work, so I walked to the front desk to let them know and get the ETA on the arrival of a maintenance person. After evading the question several times, I asked the girl behind the counter if I could just use their bathroom, if it was going to take a long time to get anyone to my room. She actually told me the motel staff weren't required to provide a working bathroom, if you can even believe that. That night, I bought my own plunger, so nothing like that would ever happen again. If you circle the main building, you'll pass a small area labeled guest laundry. Upon closer inspection you'll see the edifice is padlocked and full of trash. If you ask about that, they'll tell you they've called to get repairs done, but they never actually had someone come out and they'll need to call someone else. If you follow up on that, you'll discover that they're never going to call anyone else - because they have working washers and dryers, just not for guest usage. Despite the building bearing the sign that would fool weary travelers into believing this was an existing amenity. I had the misfortune of needing to stay there for an extended period of time. I stayed in two different rooms. The first one was completely overrun by small cockroaches, coming out of a loose pipe under the sink. No matter how many times I complained about this, nothing was ever done to really solve the problem. A "pest control" person would arrive at irregular intervals, spray literally 2 or 3 times, and complain and very reluctantly comply if asked to spray specific areas. Lastly, I'll leave you with the worst thing I had to put up with there. Shortly after moving into the second room I inhabited there, I kept noticing water streaming into the bathroom from the vent in the bathroom ceiling. It only happened occasionally at first, then with more regularity. Over time, I noticed a foul odor and a faint yellow color that got darker as the odor increased and stained the bathroom ceiling so badly the stains began to grow mold. And yes, this is going exactly where you think it is. Soon enough, it was obvious that it was urine - and by the time I could tell for sure, it was going on so many times in a day that it never dried. I imagined maybe a family was above me that was neglecting the care of small children. Or maybe someone had dogs and wasn't walking them enough. I started leaving the property to use public bathrooms. It got to the point that I almost stopped sleeping entirely from the stress of it all. I complained about it MANY times, and various members of staff tried to gaslight me into thinking it was water from a shower. This actually seemed plausible in the beginning, because they only provide decorative cloth curtains for showers. I bought my own vinyl liner early on, but I'm betting most guests did not. But shower water would contain soap, and wouldn't be amber and stinking of urine! After reaching the end of my tether, I had a breakdown of sorts in the office, reminding them how I always paid on time, if not early, and letting them know I couldn't go on living this way. The owner came out and assured me the occupants above me would be moved. It finally stopped. Upon announcing my departure to the front desk, several staff members were present when my final key was made and given to me by the desk clerk. That night, urine rained down on my bathroom once again, and I could not have been happier that I was leaving. It was never a guest. It was a member of the staff the whole time.
