About Southeastern Credit Union We're a not-for-profit financial institution, and we offer all banking products and services, but unlike a bank, we have lower loan rates, higher deposit rates, and fewer fees. Since we donâ€™t have stockholders, we reinvest any profits earned back into the credit union to offer our members the most up to date technology and products available. Anyone who lives or works in our fourteen-county field of membership is eligible to open an account. This includes Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Colquitt, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Pierce, Tift, Thomas, Turner and Ware counties.

Had an issue this morning because 2 $10 bills were taken out of my account a day early, the first charge cause my account to overdraft prompting a $32 charge, the second drew me farther past the 0.00 and also charged me another $32. I called and spoke to a very professional gentleman named Nathan. He was able to unenroll me from "overdraft protection" (I didn't feel very PROTECTED) so my account will not overdraft again. Then he called me back about 20 minutes later and told me he spoke to the overdraft team and was able to get BOTH of those charges restored to my account. I understand it was my mistake for not fully understanding what the service meant, but it's nice to see an employee go the extra mile for a customer he has never nor will he like ever meet. 5 star rating is solely based upon Nathan's performance, if I could request an operator I'd choose home everytime! Thanks again Nathan!
