I had a terrible experience at the branch on Inner Perimeter Road this morning. I opened a joint checking account online a few weeks ago. Which was a very pleasant experience, and I was provided excellent customer service.
I went into the branch today hoping to fund my account and was greeted by a rep; I believe Taylor was her name. She was sitting at her desk and, while sitting several feet away, asked me what I was there to do, and I explained. Then she asked me for my Social Security number, all while still sitting several feet from me where I was standing in her doorway. Despite having two chairs in her office, I was not offered a seat and asked to give her my SSN # from the doorway, which was very uncomfortable.
After looking on the computer, she told me she could not find my account. When I confirmed that the banks name was as accurate as the one I had opened online, she looked again. She told me she found the account, but it had been closed a week earlier because I did not fund it within 30 days (which I was unaware of). I asked her if I could reopen it while I was at the branch, and she told me that I would have to bring the joint account holder to the branch with me or do it online again.
Since I was in the branch, I asked if I could provide my information then and have the joint account holder come in later to complete the process. She said I could not. Frankly, she didnt seem interested in helping me at all. I left very disappointed. Needless to say, I opened an account with another bank.

I agree with a previous review regarding access to the account.  I've never had as much trouble as this bank.  Granted it's been a few years since I've opened a new account anywhere.  I didn't quite understand why I had to wait 30 days after signing up for mobile banking before I could use it.  I couldn't even deposit checks.  Thank goodness I still have my old bank account.  The staff on the branch I've visited seem to lack communication which led to many annoying messages and quite frankly felt rude.  I felt disrespected as a customer.  I am now in the process of finding another financial institution.  I know of one other person who was not happy with attitude and went somewhere else with their business.  I'm headed there too.
