Needed a part (oil cap) for my JD and was told they were sold out but that they normally have one in stock and would go ahead and get one in. I said, "Okay, great, what's the price on it. He quoted me a price, and I laughed and said well thats cheap enough." I got there to pick it up and was charged 3 times the amount that I was quoted. I asked why and the reason I was given for the extra charge is that they had to charge me a transfer fee. Pathetic way to treat customers. Unfortunately that's my closest dealer but I want use them again I'd rather sell the tractor and buy a different brand if that's JD customer service.

I took my lawn tractor here. Because my drive belt would fall off. Periodically. They charged me more than $300. They said they replaced an idler pulley I got under there and the same idler pulley that I purchased on eBay was still there.
They removed my $85 Kevlar belt and replaced it with a cheap black standard belt.
The very first time that I started up the mower the belt fell off.
Then they started calling me on the telephone and sending me text messages that says I owe them more money.
I don't feel I owe your company anything but I'm going to pay you the $50 so you'll stop calling me. I had to do the job myself I'm 62 years old that's why I brought it to you in the first place.
You charged me almost $300 to replace a belt that did not need to be replaced you said you replaced parts that you did not. And you didn't find the real problem.
One look told me yeah it needs a new tensioner spring.
All I can do is speak the truth people this place crooked me! And then called me wanting more money
You should have paid me for having to redo the job over because your company didn't do it right in the first place!
