If you're looking to pursue a career in dog training this is the place you want to be! Sarah and Richard (the instructors) are not only passionate about what they do, but their knowledge of dogs and their behaviors are abundant. They teach you how to train dogs using positive reinforcement. They're thorough, easy to understand, and patient. Very hands-on and so much fun!

I attended the first class of Pleasant Paws Academy and really enjoyed and recommend the program. Sarah and Richard were confident and knowledgeable of a dogs behavior and presented the information in an easily understood fashion. Sarah and Richard are wonderful teachers! The program was so thorough, from the hands on practical application to the curriculum. I felt every aspect of basic obedience was covered as well as giving me all the tools I need to go out and start on my own. With their knowledge of canine behavior combined with their passion for positive reinforcement training they opened my eyes to a whole new relationship an owner can have with their dog, if you’re considering a career in dog training or expand your knowledge in the pet industry, I highly recommend Pleasant Paws Academy!
