This place locks you up and treats you like a criminal. The staff is condescending and its plain that you are only there for your insurance dollar. They provide no service except more trauma. Go any where else. Dont go here for your problems. They will make your problems worse. I give them zero stars.

When Emergency Rooms commence to patient dumping sick people, inappropriately transferring to where medications are handed out like spiked Halloween candy...Where transfer records are received inaccurate, and incomplete... Where identifiable pertinent detail is questionable but not questioned in the transition over... Where doctors do not stay to watch what happens to patients after open orders for involuntary injections are left to the overworked understaffed, and clearly inadequately trained for those gladly claiming having being trained in "physical and chemical restraint" of vulnerable human beings, but quick to try to shirk liability to justify causing the bleeding, bruising, medically induced seizing...Where patients arrive sick from the ERs, having tested positive for communicable illness, face physical and chemical restraint as a form of discipline should they not feel up to hanging in group settings... Where patients come in presenting symptoms of EMTALA/ADA violations... physically sick, allergic reaction to adverse event, take your pick, are still falsely imprisoned for the insurance money... Where patient symptoms continue throwing red flags of something else going on needing medical attention outside the scope of the facility, but are kept in-house for more doping to justify the hot minute worth of working/provisional diagnosis codes sure to hit the now open flood gates in mental health billing... Where victims of abuse, previously reported as happening at that facility, a specific type of violate a body kind of horror, are received anyway for further trauma to happen... Where support persons cycle through the businesses being tied to their own side business of community housing/transporting such traumatized persons... Where such staff operate behind closed doors dropping sales pitches to vulnerable medicated persons on one hand and robbing rights in the other ... Where writing up referrals does not disclose kickbacks or under the table dealings...It is BOTH the referring hospitals and the facilities, as Lakeview Behavioral, that need to be under CONSTANT 24/7 federal oversight! There's a long history of patients being abused, exploited. As recent as 2024, per reviewers public comments just on this platform alone, (not to mention what shows via FOIA or other entities publishing public matters), the abuse-neglect-fraudulent practices- exploitation continues. It is extremely alarming that very few are following the money - because there is much money/benefits following harmed peoples! For anyone that has suffered abuse at the hands of this facility, been a victim of the cycles through referring hospitals, through shuffling into sister facilities, into jails, into community care homes where kickback exists, and/or back onto the streets after having been abused/over-medicated with dangerous drugs... if possible, PLEASE SPEAK UP AND SPEAK LOUDLY. For any family or friends that have suffered a loved one going through this special kind of haides, know you are not alone. WE BELIEVE YOU. PLEASE KEEP SPEAKING UP AND SPEAK LOUDLY. To civil and human rights advocates please help shed more light. TO THE MEDIA - FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Allow me to tell you about my experience. This place is very unpleasant and unprofessional. They never return your phone call. When I arrived to pick up my son I wanted 45 minutes for them to hand me a bag of dirty clothes. He went home in scrubs. They threw away his prescription glasses. No call pertaining to his glasses. Remind you $300 plus pair of glasses. No geninue apology. All they want is your money. All the negative reviews are true. Prior to posting this review I found out they were under investigation 2019 Google it. My son came back home more depressed Google 2019 11 news. They were accused of abusing children. They had about 100 allegations. Now Im scrambling trying to find my son some real help. Georgia needs to do better when it comes to finding geninue care for those who need mental health. What if this was your love one ?

This place is disgusting. After losing an ovary, a family member didn't understand that I had a few infections and had been back to the ER 3 times for complications, including a UTI (which can cause confusion). This person is in the health care profession and threatened to 1013 me (I had never heard of it). After chasing me around the house (in front of my husband) and calling the police on me after we left our home and came back, I was too traumatized to go back to the ER. My husband called mobile crisis (a number given to him by family member) because I became paranoid from the UTI. I was put on a 1013 because I was hiding in the addict (again, paranoid from a UT) and fearful of this family member. I developed a staph infection and scabies at this horrible place. I have never been to ANY mental health facility previously and hope they are not all like this one. Filthy and totally unsafe for anyone. Shut it down!!
