I brought my 2005 Ford freestar that had a blue book value of $850 in for repairs. I chose this location because a family member had just hired them to take care of their company fleet of vehicles. When I received a quote that the repairs would cost $6,000 and the van was too dangerous to drive, I decided against repairs. I asked John lee, the owner, if he had any use whatsoever for the vehicle. Figured that maybe they could fix it up for a shop truck or maybe even fix it and resell it. I was told that it had absolutely no worth and he was just going to send it to the scrap yard if I did not want the car back. I gave him the vehicle in exchange for the cost of the inspection because I was in a hurry and didn't want to deal with it. A week later I passed by and I see that they are washing my vehicle in the front of the shop. I asked the employee what they're going to do with that beautiful Ford freestar. I was told oh this is for sale. I definitely do not trust the owner of this repair shop and would advise everyone to go anywhere else but full line auto.

Full Line Auto Care (Owner: John C. Lee) The business had two locations . The one I have been to is located at [ 5656 Buford Hwy Norcross, Ga 30071 ] This car repair shop failed to resolve a straightforward Engine Light issue despite having my car for a full 9 days. Despite my objections, the mechanic proceeded to dismantle my engine but failed to reassemble it correctly, resulting in severe damage to my vehicle. Despite the subpar service, John still demanded $1,200 from me. I was forced to seek assistance from the Chevrolet dealer to rectify the damage, incurring an additional cost of $2,700. John's approach involved criticizing previous repair places, attempting to convince customers that their cars had extensive damage, likely to encourage return visits for further repairs. When he couldn't fix the car's problem, he shifted blame back to the previous repair shop. The owner's behavior was unprofessional and childish. He refused to show the business license when requested, hanging up the phone abruptly or avoiding confrontation by closing the window when approached in person. On January 17, 2024, after checking with the Georgia Secretary of State, I discovered information for only one shop, with no data for the location on Buford Hwy. It was revealed that the license had expired in 2015 but had recently been renewed. Upon further investigation with the Norcross court, I found that the business address was under a different business name at that location. Given these circumstances, would you trust this business with your car?
