Been here for a whole two days and deeply regret it. In just two days: -Seen someone carrying hanging out in the parking lot -stairs to the appartement reeks of weed the past two evenings Regarding the apartment: there is no microwave, no lights in the living room and worse, no lights nor fan in one of the bedroom. The other bedroom has a fan that is so wobbly, it is unsafe to use. And the best: when I put a work order to get a ceiling fan installed, maintenance marked it as completed the day after but did not install anything. Had to go to the reception to get told that they don't install any ceiling fan and got told to to install it myself if I wanted one.. a ceiling fan and lights in a bedroom.. If this was a cheap apartment, I could have expected that but this is about 200-300$ more expensive than some apartments down the street. You should be able to get a much better apartment/ community and management for the price

I feel inclined to write this review to make the public aware of how Wesley Place management handles problems. My roommate and I have been living here for the past two years & up until a few months ago things were okay at Wesley Place. The apartments themselves are fine but the price is too high for what you get. My roommate and I moved into a bigger apartment our second year, within a few months we started getting bugs. I would get cockroaches in the ceiling, hoards of bugs coming out of the kitchen cabinets. At one point, I was doing laundry and I opened up the washer to find a bug in there. It got to the point where we got so many bugs, I eventually called the office and let them know what was happening. At this point we had deep cleaned the apartment, and even laid out bug bombs of our own. Management told me they would have the exterminator come out the following week and "clean" around the apartment. After spraying our apartment, the bugs continued to appear. I called management to see if there was something else that could be done. They checked our apartment and flipped the blame and advised us to clean our apartment by stating ,"we saw a few dishes in your sink." Implying the few dishes were to blame for the multitude of bugs we had. The problem persisted, so I voiced to management I felt as if they were not doing enough or did not care to do anything else. They shared there was nothing else they could do on their part and asked ME for possible solutions (as if it were my job to tell them what to do).Additionally, management stated, youll be moving in a few weeks, youre bound to take a few bugs with you because that does happen, what will you do then? I was taken back by what they said. It felt as if they were asking me who will you complain to when you leave? I said that doesnt matter because in the current moment I am dealing with bugs, Id like to think that management would want to help out their tenants. Because of the persisting problem, I called back a third time hoping they had different solutions. To my disappointment, they only offered to send out the exterminator a third time, knowing it had not helped previously. At this point I realized that they did not care. They did not want to be held accountable. They did not want to go beyond what they had already done. It's a month later and I still have bugs in the apartment. They should have not allowed people to be living here knowing they had a bug problem. There are so many things in this apartment that should have been taken care of beforehand but was not done: the kitchen sink not working properly, the moldy bathtub, the dishwasher hanging out, the noisy upstairs maintenance guy blasting his music at 12am on a Wednesday night. I am happy to part ways with Wesley Apartments, save yourself the headache. There are plenty of other apartments in the area for the same price or less that are far better than Wesley's Place. The people at Wesley Place will happily take your money but will not do anything to help you.

A place you can call home with kind neighbors, supportive maintenance team members, and a friendly staff at the leasing office with Billy, Bonnie, Mario, and Rose. I am happy and grateful to be part of this community.

TL;DR: Not a BAD place to live, but I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. I'm sure I missed a few things for each section below, but this review is my general experience. Pros: - Package Drop off is safe. Never had stolen mail/packages. - This WAS true, but since they have closed the office off for packages, I've had one stolen. - They keep the pool, gym and roads clean - Decent areas to walk dogs in - Water pressure and heat worked great year round - AC/Heat worked great year round - All interactions with management has been pleasant - Great internet options here. I recommend Google Fiber. - Unless I lived near very quite neighbors, the sound proofing is top-notch. I am quite loud and have never received a complaint, nor have I have ever heard my neighbors. - Great area for restaurants. Pleasant Hill is a fantastic road to be near Cons: - Rent is WAY too expensive for what you get. - Most people don't pick up after their dogs. Plenty of poop in every patch of grass. Easy fix would be for disposal stations (there are none). - Entry Gate is broken ALOT. They fix it, but people still manage to break it. - The roach reviews are REAL. Apartment 304 is infested and has been since I moved in. I imagine that's the case with a lot of the rooms. -Speaking of Apartment 304, 90% of the windows in this unit were glued shut. Not sure why. - Management taking calls are a hit or miss. I've resorted to just walking up there if I need something or have questions. - Gym is SPARCE. 10 machines total. - Default blinds they have in each unit are FRAGILE. If you touch them the wrong way they snap.
