The Mallard Arms Inn

Loved having this as a home base during a visit great location right near downtown, restored upper floor of a historic building. Fantastic service and a streamlined check-in process; very nice, modern rooms; very responsive and helpful to our needs; great service overall. Will definitely stay there again if/when were in the area! Rooms: Modern and comfortable! Nearby activities: Walking distance from a local brewery, restaurants, boutiques, and a historic theater. Walkability: Very close to the downtown strip (food, shopping, activities). Food & drinks: A variety of local restaurants nearby, as well as some fast food and coffee options a little farther away. Most places were closed on Sunday. Noteworthy details: The building dates to 1903, but they had the upper floor very nicely and comfortably restored, with various themed rooms.

I stayed in Just Peachy December 26, 2023. If life ever brings me back to Jesup, GA I would look forward to staying at the Mallard Inn again. Late arrival was easy with the pass code and parking across the street. The room was clean and stylish. The bed comfortable and bathroom luxurious. The Malkard has a very generous snack and beverage area in the common space but I walked a few blocks through the old town section to a coffee shop and had a coffee, breakfast burrito, and fruit for a reasonable price. The Mallard Inn is a true gem.

Very nice historical looking hotel. A masterpiece frozen in time. Rooms are very clean.

If you are a railfan like me, this is the place to go. If you're not, expect lots of trains horns through the night! I stayed in the Wayne County Corner room and it is so elegant. There is a walk-in shower and HANDSOAP. That made my day..not that bar stuff. Also have dispensers in the shower. There are two beds and PLENTY of room. A remote for the AC unit. Free snacks, water, juice, etc. Keyless entry. I cannot say enough good stuff. The only thing that was off was the smell of the bathroom, maybe sulfur water?

Westins heavenly bed runs a close second to the bed here. Super clean room and common area. Lots of nice touches like great coffee (self-service Keurig with multiple options), snacks, cool mini-frig, great shower and comfortable chairs in the room.
