Aspen Dental - Hinesville, GA

Scheduled for a 2:30pm appt and was asked to.show up early for paperwork. Did so and office was closed for lunch. After completing a short two page tablet questionnaire I waited for over an hr. At that time they couldn't tell me when I'd be going back to be seen. I was asked why I was coming in for an appointment today. I was a new pt but after this visit, I'll be going else where. To over book your Doctor and not inform patients is just not great business.

Hands down this is the best dentist I have ever been to. The staff is amazing! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, even when you are scared.

**see below this first review for an updated review** Some of the staff we're very sweet, professional and kind, but my experience with one of the DDSs was not good. Listen, I've been in and out the ER with toothpain and infection and when I finally got insurance (Cigna, not through marketplace) because i didn't have dental insurance before, as i couldn't afford it, and it feels like I was discriminated against as being a "drug addict" because I'm only 43 and my teeth are as bad as they are, (i dare say the worst teeth theyve seen for my age, not to mention the constant pain, we're talking chipped, broken, tooth loss and majorly infected teeth and gums. To add insult to injury, they give me a weak antibiotic and REGULAR STRENGHT TYLENOL, and not to gross anyone out, but there's actively bleeding, puss, broken, chipped and missing teeth, as a result of being deathly sick for so long. The tooth decay began because of the lack of nutrients I went without for so long and it caught up with me and I got hair loss, teeth AND fingernail issues as a direct result, not to mention domestic violence mixed in there. Yeah. I'd say I was pretty much discriminated against, for sure. *Updated* Wow. Just wow. I had someone reach out to me to to see why my review was so low and had me come back in to see what they could do, and i won't lie, I was skeptical... HOWEVER, this time around, the way I was treated, was absolute "NIGHT and DAY," from the kind ladies at the reception desk and the my fellow Caribbean sister who worked out the financial part and explained different options IN DETAIL, and made sure I understood what she was talking about, in addition to working on discounts she didn't have to do, plus we joked around a little, (she's hilarious) and she made sure it was something I could afford. Additionally, i had a procedure done that very day and she even checked in me, which I thought was sweet. The doctor and his staff were hands down one of the best!! He and his assistant were also hilarious and were very quick, gentle and concise with 2 tooth extractions and numbed the entire area. I felt nothing! I was shocked because I'm used to being put under or using laughing gas, but surprisingly, I didn't need it!! I have nothing but good to say about them now. I plan on taking my original negative post down after my next appointment. In all seriousness, after this experience, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else except ASPEN DENTAL! I'm very optimistic about posting more positive updates to come!
