Cash America Pawn

Very Very Sad Establishment. An obvious Prejudice Staff in fact 100% Caucasian and this review is based off 2 interactions. I'd also like to add after Witnessing the employees interactions with someone of color vs someone whom lacks it is quite alarming. I find it very unfortunate and sad that in 2024 we still have to deal with the ignorance of racism Too go a bit more in depth the 2 male employees won't greet or even speak the entire time I was there not even a "we will be with you shortly" one in particular is so frustrated by my presence he did nothing but stair straight ahead real life tunnel vision. An Employee by the name of " Savanah" is by far the rudest and has the worst case of rbf I've ever seen I'd also like to add she and I'd assume the rest of the staff offer low ball offers but her in particular because that's whom I've unfortunately had the pleasure of dealing with she also doesn't honor her word and knows she low balled me as if I don't have the wits to know not only how a pawn loan works but also the value of my item she's the reason I've contacted the BBB via complaint and hopefully it turns into an investigation Anyways what's done is done I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL...I'm Sure the Cash America Brand isnt aware of this type of behavior nor is it tolerated so I'll be looking into contacting they're corporate office as well

Used to be called Pawn Mart. All the employees treated you with dignity and integrity. They kept the staff when the store was bought out by Cash America. They were doing what they could to accommodate customers but hands were tied due to new corperate sales tactics being demanded. Then Cash America was purchased by First Cash Inc. This is when everything started plummeting downhill. First cash would issue write-ups if the quota for the warrenties weren't met. They would issue writeups if you had a hole in your jeans. Writeups for being a few minutes late from lunch. Writeups for discounting too much. Writeups for loaning 'too much money'. Writeups if we refused to cut into jewelry with a file. Writeups if your shirt had a 'Polo' logo on it. Writeups for wearing a sweater with a hood. The original staff were all fired for frivolous reasons because they could hire newbies for cheeper wages. They used to hold BBQ's and a huge Christmas sale where they all dressed up nice and had STEEP discounts. Now they stalk the employees via the cameras and have completely sucked the life out of the new ones who are hired. They forced employees to work with human feces on the floor because of a big sewege back up. When told about the black mold growing in the ceiling it took a year of fighting to get it removed and they didnt even do the bottom floor. Employees were sick for months.The turnover has sky rocketed from basically zero to 250% since the buy-out. Go literally anywhere else for a loan but here. Do not give your money to this corporation, they're worse than Bezos.

Poor customer service. Lady that helped me had the personality of a fish. Most of the gold jewelry i brought in they told me was worthless or didn't pass their 'test'. It was for the best. I sold my gold online for a little over $300. More than half of what they offered and I didn't have to leave my house. I would suggest to sell your gold online. These people will cheat you and the staff is horrible! Go online folks!
