When we got to the property we were told that Joe was out with illness and that the property wasnt going to be ready for viewing anytime soon. The lady kept talking about their low income property as if we couldnt afford the non low income side. We been living in a non low income house for 3 years paying $1200 a month. I felt she didnt wanna help us and was just trying to get us out of the office. We didnt get a proper introduction. She went right into talking about low income. I felt it was because of my race.

Property conditions continue to decline. Discarded furniture in breezways, uneven and unsafe sidewalks for the elderly, trash, cigarettes, and discarded food on walk ways, sheets hanging in windows. Staff turnover is also an issue with poor service and complaints not being taken seriously. I am a previous resident and when I resided in these apartments years ago we had mandatory apartment inspections and I was literally made to replace a bent blind. Now my mother still resides in these apartments and I have photos with time stamps showing the consistent decline. I am so disappointed as this is one of the few income based apartments in the area and unfortunately the tenants that do care about their surroundings are stuck. I will be taking my complaints to the regional managers and further if need be. Lets see some improvements.

2nd update:we took written documentation to be taken off the lease. Still being told and I quote"as I said I will get with you when I can" -Janessa. We have enquired with an attorney an old she has 30 days to take her off. We have also spoke with the HUD housing who is trying to find out why it's so hard for them to print out the paper that needs to be signed. Update: this was Monday today is Thursday and we are still being told they would get back with us when they can. Mean time we have a while other apartment to turn on utilities etc. This place is a JOKE! I've never seen a business office that could not give you an appointment to remove yourself from your lease. The office just keeps telling us they will TRY get back to us. No one here has any idea what's going on. Joe tells you one thing and Janessa tells you another. At some point they need to get on the same page. My family member has lived here off and on for over 10 years now. We have never seen such a lack in management. She has begged for an inspection of mold in her apartment for the past year and has yet to get one. Her error and heating unit goes out at least once a week. The apartment smell like mold and old cigarettes as soon as you walk into the apartment hallways. The floor of my family members bathroom is falling in. The apartments fixed it by putting new PCP flooring over the rotten floor. ****Janessa is very rude and unreasonable refusing to call anyone back, make an appointment or even speak to my family member about her moving out. My family has had to go back and forth with this place for weeks now because no one has a clue what they really need to do. We have made a formal complaint with HUD.

I would like to have the new phone number to the office place so I can report my window, When it rains, it rains inside my apartment, it's not very good. I'm afraid it's going to mess up my furniture and the floor. I do like the new owners they seen to care about us the people and they are fixing thing up around here.
