    I'll keep this simple: I will start, first, with the positives. The air conditioner was wonderful, and the young male and female who worked at the front desk were friendly enough. The hotel itself, however, needs much work. So here is the list: 1. First room assigned, did not have a closet and had an odor. 2. Second room, I was bitten up by bed bugs. Needless to say, sleep was not peaceful thereafter. I was moved again and they "cleaned" the room, with alcohol. However, with bed bugs, carpets and curtains need to be professionally cleaned. I believe that they need to call in a professional exterminator. 3. Curtains were stained. Sheets and towels were, in general, stain free. Floors were dirty and I serious doubt if the carpets are ever vacuumed or shampood. 4. Refrigerator and Microwave were old and damaged, but the fridge did work. I did not use or even look in the microwave. 5. Ice buckets were available, but ice machine was broken. Therefore, we had to buy our ice. 6. The lamp shades were old, cracking or stained. 7. Mold was underneath one of the room air conditioners. 8. Needs painting and showers redone. 9. You could take a warm shower, but not a hot shower. This place was selected by another in our group and due to their taste for comfort, I did not look at the reviews. When I encountered issues, I was shocked to see how old these same complaints have been listed. What a shame! The place has potential, but it would take someone that care and is willing to invest to bring it to it's full potential.
