Absolutely horrible, I didn't try to get with this mortgage company. I was working with another mortgage company. Got my mortgage and home. And my loan was sold to these guys. Absolutely the worst. And I highly don't recommend this loan company. Stay far away. I'm going to refinance my loan through AFFMA and get far away. Predators. They don't work with you on anything other than harass. I went through Homestar mortgage. And they sold my mortgage to these guys without my knowledge. And or permission. I will not use them as well. My original FIXED VA loan rate I was paying went from 2k a month. To now 2,900. This is with my homestead exemption put on. And I am so confused on how my mortgage went up vs going down since I have homestead exemption.

Home was closing and I was told to payment was not needed with the home closing. Close fell through at the last minute (out of my control, out of Planet Home Lendings control). Due to this, I did not make my payment on time. However I quickly caught up early then following month, but not before I was reported late for December. Very unfortunate set of circumstances but I bit the bullet. However, now two of the credit bureaus are showing the late payment for January and one for December resulting in TWO late payments on my credit when in fact it was only one. I was told by the credit representative (not with Planet) to simply get a letter on letter head reporting that the late payment month was December and not January and this could be submitted to have credit report modified to reflect accurately. Planet has flat out REFUSED to assist. Saying its not their fault not their responsibility. So here I am trying to close on a new home and having to scramble to figure out a way to fix an inaccurate reporting on my credit and Planet has completely let me down. Youd think I was asking them to wire me $1,000,000. Nope!! All I need is some cooperation on their end to help me get a false late payment report off my credit from this company!! After reading many many other reviews, I see that I am not the only one. I am trying one more Avenue with them to try and remedy this issue. Will update once that outcome has been reached to see if they assist in this next attempt.

0/10 would not recommend this mortgage lender. My home has had a water leak now thats went over a month now without getting repaired all because this company is moving so slow. We have 2 small kids and our house has a huge possibility of getting mold since we live in coastal Georgia with a water leak! You would think with a family of small kids they would take this matter seriously and get this repair fixed! Our insurance adjuster has came & done their part for WEEKS. I will never do business with this company again. They obviously do not care about their valued customers. Everytime we call to get an update it gets pushed back longer! Bring back mortgage companies that actually care about the well-being of their customers & their families!

I absolutely do not recommend this mortgage company. They do not care about their valued customers and their wellbeing. My house had a water leak and it's been over a month now my family has been without water. A MONTH! We've already had the insurance adjuster do their part for weeks now. Planet Home Lending is taking forever to get us the check back so we can fix our water leak and have working water again. Because of this long waiting period I am afraid that we could possibly have mold. Every time we call to get updates, they keep telling us it will take longer to get this taken care of. You would think that since we have small kids and the risk for mold is real considering we live in coastal Georgia, that we would have no issues with getting this taken care of. This is the worst company should anything happen to your home.
