Great dojo(place) to learn & practice Kendo in Atlanta area. Kendo is a martial art which derivative from ancient Japanese samurai sword fighting. It focuses more on mental and etiquette rather than physical strength and the winning. But it is as tough as tennis or track where you sweat a lot. It is truly great for all ages, all genders. Beginners are always welcome as well as advanced kendo practitioners/visitors. There are regular practices on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. We often times have practices on Thursday night, too. Monthly dues are very inexpensive. Please check out the website and contact the president for more detail info. You are more than welcome to come and watch before you start.
