Clarion Suites Duluth I-85

They use to be good, until they were bought. For years we had staid here, how ever since they changed ownership it's from bad to worse. March we staid, and our towels had blood, the rooms unless you ask to be clean they won't clean them, my husband had asked for a 2nd floor and they said it ok, but when we checked in they said they were not available. When asked for clean towels, let me just say I will not even use them to mop the floors. We had to go and buy towels. The customer service from the front desk is awful. Housekeeping in the other hand she was really friendly, but they can only do what they are told. For sure we don't want to come back. And I did called choice Hotel to have them check.

TRUST ME when I sum this up for you in short here;...If you're in the Pleasant Hill, or the Duluth area, THIS is where you stay. Rooms: SPACIOUS & CLEAN (Housekeeping actually CARES here.:)

Lets get to it. I stayed 2 weeks for business during that time they never were consistently stocked with food for breakfast,. They were completely out of yogurt, bread, cream, waffles, fruit, hot cereal, sugar, toilet paper. Housekeeping was lacking most with bad attitudes, linen was tattered like it should have been replaced- wholes and rips. An office with no working equipment or door. I saw staff chasing paying guest down the hallway yelling at them because they were taking their breakfast to their rooms- being told they must stay in the dinning room, well the dinning room was a little hole in the wall with no window views, sometimes crowded, usually dirty. They run out of coffee evening time and would refuse to make anymore. Last day I saw what appeared to be black mold in my bathroom they must have painted over it because I couldn't see it initially. I had to wait at the counter for almost 30 minutes waiting to see anybody who worked there and when I did he had a very grouchy demeanor about him like he hated his job and didn't want to be there the rooms are okay but not clean very well in the Halls smell like marijuana Rooms: Definitely could have been taken care of better than they are Walkability: You can pull up at the entrance to the lobby for checking in parking is rough but it is handicap accessible entrance Food & drinks: They do you serve breakfast in the mornings. As well as coffee throughout the day. Noteworthy details: They have I believe in indoor pool and fitness center
