Motel 6 Duluth, GA - Atlanta - Gwinnett Place

I made the reservation 3 weeks before my trip and very clearly told them I needed a room on the first floor cause my dad is disabled and has a wheelchair. They didnt have a first floor room for me, had to figure out how to get my dad up there safely. The room had no AC, no cable tv, room wasnt clean, my puppy for infested with fleas, there were bugs in the room, there was blood on the curtains, the manager didnt want to move me to a different upgraded room even when I offered to pay the difference. The only reason why we didnt leave is because were not from that state and we didnt know if we were going to find somewhere else and we didnt want to loose out money but I give this place zero stars.

I was placed in a room with no heat in the WINTER and given a space heater for accommodation. On the third day of my stay, the heater went out. I was refused a new one, though the temperature was expected to drop to 12F. I was then accused of smoking in a non smoking room (though I requested a smoking room) and locked out. I can not say that employee Nimisha Patel is racist, however, she is the only employee who has provided a problem for me at this location and is incredibly rude. The police were called and were incredibly helpful. They even suggested a few better properties in the area. In the end, the property was forced to issue a refund.
