La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dublin

Hotel was old and a little dated. The carpet looked dirty. The bathroom was ok but the shower floor needed some TLC. Dont look behind the beds. I dont know how much chlorine they put in the pool but it destroyed my 8 year old daughters healthy hair. I had to wash it 5 times to get the stink out and now it feels like straw. The beds were actually pretty comfortable but they only had 3 small square pillows for each bed instead of standard size pillows. The staff was extremely nice and helpful! Overall the hotel was ok- we just felt dirty and ended up leaving early.

This place is an absolute disaster! I booked a room for two nights I slept maybe 4.5 hours the first night, and I had to pack my bags on the second night and leave. There is a HUGE inability to manage guests and their behavior at this property. Its apparently all about who is creating the most revenue, and forget about any and all other guests! The first night there was a kids baseball tournament in town, which led to kids running the halls, slamming doors, throwing balls on the walls and floors, and they took over the entire lobby and restaurant area for the entire evening. Not a word was said to the parents, of the children. When I spoke to the male working the desk, he quickly told me that we cant tell guests how to behave. Well okay then. It was dangerous trying to get in and out the automatic doors, to walk my dog. The next morning, Forget breakfast as they were allowed to run crazy in the eating area, and left NO FOOD or room for anyone else. So much for the free continental breakfast. The second day when I returned to the property, the parking lot had numerous cars and people playing loud music. As I entered, the smell of marijuana was quite obvious. To each his own. I went up to my room, where after a few minutes, the doors next door began to slam endlessly. The odor of marijuana permeated my room from the room next door. Shortly thereafter, there was pounding, yelling, stomping from the room above. I Took a deep breath and I went to run my bath thinking it would calm down soon, but alas, I had no hot water. The doors continued to slam. Upon leaving the bathroom I spilled some bottled water, so I grabbed a cloth to soak it up. The cloth was absolutely BLACK when I picked it up, which meant the carpeting was incredibly filthy and unsanitary! I have to give it to management for choosing a carpet that cant and wont show dirt though. But just know that it is DISGUSTING! There was also mold above my ac unit, and an unpainted wall above it. There was what appeared to be blood in the window sill, and also on the bathroom wall. I finally decided I couldnt handle the noise, smell and filth any longer, so I left and drove 6 hours back home. The ONLY bright spot about this nasty and unmanaged property was the young lady working the front desk when I checked in and then out. Save your money and dont stay here. Rooms: Dirty. Hair on my sheets, blood on the walls, and carpeting was disgusting. Safety: Staff had zero control over kids taking over the property and running wild until after 1 a.m. There was no breakfast or space left for other guests to enjoy after kids and their parents arrived.

I had enough of this hotel. I killed a baby roach in my bathroom. The internet was out for several days. The pool has been closed. When I first checked in my room, the previous guests trash was still there. The tub has a constant leak of water. Go stay somewhere else.
