Hampton Inn & Suites Dublin

The General Manager called my wife and I a liar, irresponsible and his cleaning staff stole from our room. Will never stay here again. Please be aware. Its a shame that Hilton let someone so rude represent their brand.

Its a shame that the general manager, Phil Patel is so unprofessional. My family was in town for a funeral and I booked three rooms, all on the same floor. The guarantee is that rooms are ready to checkin at 3:00pm. One room was not ready at check in and would not be ready for so long that they changed us to a different room, two floors up. The next morning, I spoke with the manager and requested a late checkout, which was denied. When I told him about the situation with the rooms he just provided excuses about being short staffed and NO accommodation for their mess up. When I asked for the general manager information, he puffed up and snapped his jacket stating he is the General Manager. His body language was very offensive and rude. Im sure his reply will be the same as Ive read on other reviews that some have left about his lack of professionalism but youll just have to decide if this is something youre willing to deal with. We will no longer stay at this hotel, ever REPLYING TO MANAGEMENT RESPONSE: LIES We simply needed a room to come back to in order to change after burying our mother. YOU.. made an assumption which, to me, is racist. You lied and said you were fully booked but had no problem with taking my money for an extra night just to stay a few more hours. You do realize that people are traveling when they come to your establishment? Your policy says 3:00 pm. The clerk didnt know how long it would take as she told me that the previous guest had pets in there and it was really messed up. Thats why a different room was offered. No one wants to wait an additional 15 to 30 minutes after driving for hours. I was very understanding about the staffing and in no way spoke to you in a disrespectful manner. Youve proven me right with your response and took ZERO accountability. I dont need you to tell me where NOT to stay when I visit again. Ive already made the decision not to ever visit your establishment again. I know Im not the only one, based on these reviews, and Im certain I wont be the last.
