image Have you ever felt bad about not choosing an apartment just because the leasing staff was super friendly? Prosperity at The Statesman did it for me. Although I did not choose The Statesman due to space; I had a terrific experience while I was there. Prosperity was super friendly and her hospitality was immaculate. I wish she was over at the place I did choose. If any potential tenants decides to choose The Statesman just know youll be in good hands!!

image From the moment I stepped through the door, I could tell that this was going to be a special place. The layout is perfect, with plenty of space to entertain guests or just relax after a long day. The natural light that floods the living room is simply breathtaking, and I love how it illuminates every corner of the space.
I couldn't be happier with my new apartment. It's the perfect combination of style, comfort, and convenience, and I feel so lucky to call it my home. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to live that truly feels like a sanctuary.

image The community speaks for it self, location, placement of each of the structures, not to leave out the amenities. I was more impressed with the quality, knowledge and professionalism of the staff. This team is well organized, I was walked through my entire process and not once did I have to ask a question that had not been explained prior to my decision. Process was quick and seamless both leasing agents worked in tandem to make certain all required on both ends was covered. Upper management surprised me with their intricate use of Automated and Artificial intelligent tools to keep current and future residents involved, informed, and welcomed. I am a huge fan of the use case and abilities of Technology, this crew navigates the space perfectly. Very well done Statesman, Office Staff and those who maintain the facilities.

The apartment above us flooded and it took the staff three days to find a plumber to come out ( only to fix the above unit). There was no communication on how or when they were gonna fix the situation. There was no since urgency when we told them our apartment was flooding. I was told by the managerwe will cross that bridge when we get there. Our wifi was damaged as well. They told us to clean up the mess when it first happened which is extremely unprofessional. Keep in mind on the day this happened I had to keep calling the leasing office for updates and the only time they reached out was to ask if I was gonna renew my lease? They provided two dehumidifiers which is covered in mold and told us to stay in the unit until it dries out. This is a high risk for mold, bacteria, and mildew. I have reached out to the regional and no response. Seems as though the whole management team has no since of urgency or communication. Upon speaking with other residents seems they have similar issues with the property not giving credit for refer a friend , provided incorrect move in dates, or miss assigning apartments.
******First, the property is absolutely beautiful and Nicole and prosperity are very sweet. This does not go towards the two of them. The commutation really needs work. When I first toured with Victoria who apparently doesnt even work for the statesman but is an agent from a different company who was helping Nicole out since this place is newly established. When touring with Victoria I confined with her that I was relocating but the lease I was in didnt end until October 17th. I was looking for dates around then. She then informed me that if I moved in near the end of September I would qualify for a full first month rent free which would be divided between the month of October and November. Come to found out today 10/3/22 that this was not the case and I could have moved in at any time for the promotion. I did not move in until October 1st but had to pay a prorated rent for September 24th-October first which was fine because I thought I was gonna be saving money with the promotion but instead I was told incorrectly which now has me paying rent at two places. I called and spoke with Nicole and told her how I felt tricked and she kept apologizing but thats not enough. She informed me that they didnt trick me but use whatever term you want they did. Im not saying it was intentional but I was definitely not informed all the way before signing. They had someone who doesnt even work for them misguide me. Its not their money its mine. Things have been hard after the pandemic and really thought this place was nice.
Also, I was told that the maintenance person would call beforehand on my maintenance request. The request is for the fan. They have a fan switch that doesnt even work for the fan. If you want to use the fan you literally have to pull the strings every time. You cant use a switch to turn it off. They never called and then knocked but proceeded to open my apartment door. What if I was in the shower? Or changing? Very disrespectful and makes me feel uncomfortable
