Dr. Alvarez and his team does a great job of making you feel comfortable and explaining everything to you. Good customer service and excellent bed side manners.

This doctor doesnt care if your having a reaction to meds or that you have nodules that are choking you and making you sick as a dog. He wont test your nodules for thyroid cancer and will put you in a thyroid storm without treatment. My entire family has thyroid issues so I have a mother thats a nurse that this happened to and my husbands cousin is a endocrinologist in a different state. His plan he said was to send me to speech therapy for choking on my thyroid instead of treating it with ablation or radio active therapy so that you dont feel like death. He said thyroid cancer is rare but I guess he thinks that if its rare he doesnt have to test people for it! When my mom had hyperthyroidism the first thing they did at the medical center in Houston Texas was preform a biopsy to check for cancer then offer ablation or radioactive treatment before deciding to do surgery. This is other doctors protocol but not his.
