Thank you Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care you provided for my mother during her final months. The love and support we received from all our caretakers, made this experience a much easier path to navigate. July 23rd for us will never be the same, but knowing we had the best of care until the end makes life a bit sweeter.

Absolutely an amazing company, a family member became extremely ill and after all the efforts of the Medical professionals she was not going to survive long term.
This company was recommended to me and it was the best company that we could have been blessed with.
All team members have been professional, caring and extremely knowledgeable. My family has not had to share any of the burdens with home care for a terminal family member.
The nursing staff, support staff and all members have made this difficult time bearable and allowed us to focus on other needs.
During a time of stress and uncertainty we have been treated with great care and the patient was treated with dignity and respect.
We could not have asked for a better company to work with and a better team of professionals to live up to our needs.

Came to the house with a chip on their shoulder and their own agenda. Unprofessional, uncaring, no compassion, unprepared. Did not "meet " the family where they were in the EOL process. Made statements even before our son was taken off the stretcher of the transport that brought him home. Our family and son lost confidence in P-RN in the first 3 minutes of her coming in to the house and opening her mouth. When she left the room, my son stated "do not leave me alone with her!" That night he stated "you know P-RN isn't going to do anything for me, she isn't going to help us at all", she mouthed off , of everything she was going to do and jeopardize her job, but it isn't going to happen. Our family has used a hospice company in the past, which was 100% different approach than what we got. I have been in the medical profession for 40+ yrs with patient contact, and have seen other hospice workers in action, I can say THIS WAS NOT A profession contact. This was an atmosphere of "we were forced to take your son on by another corporation, so we're going to set you straight, and call the shots, and you will get nothing more than WE decide to help you with!" So I'm happy for all of you that got the 5 star person and business but we did not!
UPDATE: I've tried to call the Compliance hotline you gave the number for....IT'S a NURSE LINE. and there isn't a NUMBER to choose in the que. It would be nice if you really did have a dedicated compliance phone number.

Very caring, compassionate people. They took care of my uncle & were very knowledgeable. The staff were all kind & went out of their way for our family.
