I went to call Dr. Amodeo office regarding my new migraines I have been struggling with, the front desk sent me to the medical asst. line I left a VM. I got a call back later that day the first thing the girl said to me was first you only leave one vm and only call once. I just stated sorry I did not realize the number I called earlier was the same line I proceeded to tell her how much pain I was in and how this was affecting my job due to how I work on computers she came back and stated she also works on computers and gets migraines daily. I did not know what to respond to that. I was just in shock. She proceeded to read off the meds that I got and how I am not giving my body time to adjust to them because my appt was a few days ago. She kept talking over me as I was almost in tears on the phone of how much pain I was in. I was trying to explain the process I had to go through even getting an appt with the neurologist and how it has been two on going months of nonstop headaches and migraines. I was letting her know I had brain fog like forgetting stuff almost is how I worded it and she stated we don't help people who forget stuff here. I didn't mean I am legit forgetting stuff I just meant I am struggling in my day to day like with how much my head is hurting I seem to not be able to think evenly. She then stated how she stated I can't get you an appt sooner. I stated I did not ask for an appt sooner but for her to reach out to the doctor per me asking for paperwork for my job. I understand people get migraines or headaches, but this is new for me. The number of meds the ER has given me. I had to wait almost a month to even see a doctor to get a referral to see the neurologist then wait almost another 2 weeks to see him. This has been super painful and an ongoing journey on finding help to ease the pain. I have been to the ER several times as she stated I should go again, and I did let her know I have been several times she stated well then go again. I was in tears at this point trying to explain how I felt to this girl, and she just blew anything and everything off I said. She told me she would call me back not to call her back again. Super Unprofessional. She should not be working in medical field if she is going to compare herself to ever patient. She should be working as a prison guard!

Always a very pleasant experience for me. Dr. Certain is amazing. He never rushes me and listens to what I have to say. Staff is excellent also.
