I didn't have a good experience with this doctors office. Dr. Charity spends no time with his patients nor does he keep them informed about what is going on. I came to appointments, I would pee in a cup, he would listen to my baby's heartbeat and that would be it. I had concerns that he just blew off with no explanations. The final straw was when I was 39 weeks I came to my scheduled appointment and to my surprise literally no one was in the office except one of his assistants and myself. She hooked me up to a machine to listen to my baby as if something was wrong (which it wasn't) she sent results to Dr. Charity and he advised me to go to the hospital to be monitored where the hospital told me everything was perfectly fine and couldn't figure out why I was sent there to basically waste my time. A doctor at the hospital also said that a lot of patients complain about how he doesn't keep his patients informed about things. When I left that doctors appointment no follow up appointments were made fory regularly weekly appointments before baby was born or for postpartum care. All to find out that he left out of the country to Nigeria and never said a word to inform me about it. About a week later I went into labor and made my way to the hospital Dr. Charity was apparently still in Nigeria. My baby is almost 2 weeks old now and no one has reached out from his office. I am very disappointed with his services. In my previous encounters with obgyn doctors they always form some sort of friendly relationship with their patients. Everything with him was in and out and very impersonal. I DO NOT recommend. I plan to have one more child and I absolutely will not be going back to this office.

Lack of communication. Staff is unprofessional including the doctors. No one will follow up or call you back. . & they wonder why I have only been to this location once. Please do better!

While Dr. Charity is a good doctor his staff is rude, unprofessional and uncaring. We do like our doctor but if we ever have another child it will not be seen through them. I hate to lose a good doctor but its through his negligence that he allows his staff to act and treat patients the way they do. I also do not like getting put on the back burner which is how we have been treated since day one.

I moved from New York to Georgia in August 2022. I was late in pregnancy and no clinic any where in Augusta would accept me that late in pregnancy except Dr. Charity Uhunmwangho. I am a hijabie and I would have preferred a woman but Dr. Charity is an excellent doctor. Great bed side manners, respectful, he listens and answer all your questions and concerns, he doesnt rush and I felt 100% comfortable with him and trusted him. If I were to live in Georgia. He would definitely be my GYN. His office is also clean n tidy even the washrooms. And the ladies at the front desk does their job wonderfully.
