Relpha Escalona-Cruz, MD Pediatrics

We love Dr Escalona. Have been with her for over 12 years. The office however has gone downhill. We are trying to get our son evaluated & weve been waiting almost a month for them to refer him to a specialist. They finally let us know the specialist has a waiting list, okay.. refer someone else. This is my sons health. When we call them we get the runaround like his health isnt important. I call almost daily and get placed on hold and then they never return. Its exhausting especially since dr Escalona has been amazing, the staff isnt. Then , we have to wait on their referral unfortunately. No way around it.

This office is ver y unprofessional and this is not my first experience. I called to get my sons shot records and was told that I could not get his records due to a personal relationship with my sons father and I have all legal documentation and offered to show legal documentation was still told no. The MA Christine was rude and had no right for me not to get legal documentation.

My children and I LOVE Dr. Escalona-Cruz. As a nurse myself I am confident in knowing that she takes the best care of my children. She is very empathetic and patient with my wild crew. She always listens to understand my concerns with a good bedside manner. Getting an appointment is quick and easy but our family has never been turned away for a last minute walk in sick visit either. Her staff is super friendly and always offering help in anyway they can with a smile even when we've had to walk in. Despite the always thorough visit we are always in and out in good time and very little wait. I have also been very impressed with how quickly the office staff has handled any issue the pharmacy has had with prescriptions also. Our family is beyond grateful for the care provided by her and her staff. I will continue to recommend this office to family and friends.
